Relevant skills/experience/technologies: Topics that we aim to address are the complexity of trustworthiness related aspects (and diversity and their representation) as well as the architectural principles and solutions to support building of secure service composition systems. We have large expertise in security event and information management of heterogeneous services and runtime environments, as well as experience in secure development lifecycle including both dynamic and static assurance techniques.
Role in the project: Atos will be responsible of the leadership of the WP 11 “Dissemination and Exploitation”. In addition, Atos will work on the architecture, design and construction of the Aniketos platform. Atos will also participate in the definition of Security-By-Contract for services, as well as in the research and prototype development of the secure service composition, run-time monitoring mechanisms and response to changes and threats. Finally, Atos will contribute to the validation and evaluation.

Pedro Soria Rodriguez is currently Head of Sector in Atos Research & Innovation (R&D arm of Atos), an information security research team involved in several security research European projects in FP6, FP7 (ICT and SEC) (MASSIF, VIRTUOSO, EFFECTS+, INCO-TRUST, STRAW). His research interests include cryptography, security usability, and distributed systems. His professional experience in the U.S. and Europe in information security spans both military and commercial applications encompassing the design and development of hardware and software technology for data security, as well as consulting and auditing of information security management systems. As a project manager, he has been in charge of the coordination of the MASTER FP7 Integrated Project, and the ESFORS (CSA) and SECURE-PHONE (STREP) FP6 projects. He holds the CISSP certification, the CISM exam, and B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts (U.S.).
