This tutorial describes the security requirements modelling activity using the CASE tool for the STS-ml language. The tutorial is structured so as to guide the audience in the creation of a simple model using the STS-Tool. The presentation follows the method exploited in the STS-ml tutorial, and includes useful tips concerning the practical usage of the STS-Tool (http://www.sts-tool.eu).

This tutorial presents the Socio-Technical Security modelling language (STS-ml). After an outline of STS-ml, the tutorial goes through each of the three views of STS-ml (social, information, and authorisation), detailing the modelling notation as well as the methodological steps to carry out. The tutorial ends with a description of how to derive security requirements from the created models. We recommend to watch this tutorial before using the tool, as it explains the principles, notation and method.
